Bo Morton, Attorney
Bo’s ancestors have resided in Washington County since the early 1800s. Bo was born in Fayetteville, and has resided there for most of his life.
In 1963 and 1964, Bo served as a United States Senate page under the patronage of Senator J.W. Fulbright.
Upon graduation from Fayetteville High School in 1966, Bo enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps, and served in Vietnam, and Washington, D.C. He was also voluntarily activated for Operation Desert Storm, and was assigned first to Headquarters, Fleet Marine Force, Europe, and later to Headquarters Marine Corps.
After a wide variety of experience in the working world, Bo followed a lifelong interest in law by opening his own law practice in Fayetteville in 1995.
Over the years, Bo has narrowed his practice to criminal defense and related civil actions. He is passionate about protecting the rights and dignity of the underdog, and assuring that everyone facing the power of the government receives fair treatment, and gets the best possible result.
Emily Bridges, Attorney
Emily graduated magna cum laude from Lyon College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. She earned a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Arkansas School of Law and was admitted to practice in Arkansas 2008. Driven by a life-long love of learning, Emily earned a Master of Laws degree in Agricultural and Food Law from the University of Arkansas School of Law in 2012. Emily has practiced in the areas of agricultural and food law, real estate, insurance, and juvenile law. Emily’s experience expands the firm’s established civil practice including family law, real estate, and contract disputes.
Kelsey Kent, Attorney
Kelsey is our resident law clerk at the Law Office of George B. Morton, PA. After growing up in Joplin and receiving her undergrad from the University of Georgia, we are thrilled that Kelsey found her way to Northwest Arkansas.The appeal was natural, the short distance from home and the beautiful surroundings drew Kelsey to the U of A Law School. To seek out a law clerk, the Law Office of George B. Morton, PA teamed up with the University of Arkansas Law School, and Kelsey was clearly the perfect fit. During her time here she’s learned just how interesting civil and employment law can be. After her final three semesters in law school, Kelsey is interested in practicing civil and criminal law.
